Jay in WA 12-07-2012 09:02:19 71.221.207.90 Report to Moderator	I recently rebuilt the trans in my Jubilee after it sat for about three years. I cleaned the Hyd reservoir and filled it with new oil. The problem is now the 3 pt won't lift every time I move the control. I looked inside with the engine running and I see a good supply of oil coming into the reservoir but the lift piston doesn't move every time the control is moved. The tractor has the vane style pump. I have not taken anything in the hyd system apart. All I did was clean out the reservoir of years of sludge and added new oil after reinstalling the trans. In doing some additional troubleshooting I think air is getting into the system because looking in the fill hole with the engine running the oil looks foamy. Also with the fill plug installed I forced air into the dipstick tube with the lift lever in the full up position and the system not lifting it immediately lifted the 3 pt. Royse 12-07-2012 17:42:24 69.36.49.151 Report to Moderator	Re: Jubilee 3pt won't lift in reply to Jay in WA, 12-07-2012 15:47:21   Jay, I'm no expert on hydraulics, but your Jubilee has a suction tube that runs from the bottom of the sump up to the bottom of the pump. (along with a pressure tube) Those tubes have O-rings on each end. If you have an air leak, you might want to check those O-rings, and look for a damage or rusted tube. [Reply]  [No Email]

Obviously you have to drain everything and take the tubes off to separate the tractor. After putting everything back together I refilled everything with new oil. The tractor sat for three years and I don't remember how well the 3 pt worked before. Anyway now I'm thinking the O rings on the hyd tubes might be the problem. However there is not even the slightest bit of an oil leak anywhere. But there seems to be air in the system from someplace. [Reply]  [No Email]

I don't recall what Jubilees are like but both my Dexta & 5000 have this lever. [Reply]  [No Email]

Or maybe one of the pass threw lines is messed up or the linkage if not hooked up correctly. I would prime it first then pull the dip stick inspection plate off and see if you can see something wrong [Reply]  [No Email]
