Could be a cracked inlet tube to the hydraulic pump or a bad o-ring on the inlet tube cavitating the pump.Do the hydraulics and 3 point work when cold?

| Yes, both the hydraulics and 3-point work when cold. Shouldn't be the o-ring or cracked inlet tube because i just changed the pump (it was cracked), and oil & filter and problem still exists. I can hear the new pump whine as if under load, so I am concerned about the pump going again wondering if there is a blockage to the oil flowing to the pto. Still don't know why pto will not work when cold.

| Yes, the hydraulics work normal and immediately. I did not try the 3-point hitch yet.
