3600 Ford hyd. system to log splitter

How can I plumb into the hyd. system of a 3600 Ford tractor to run a log splitter?

There are a few ways you can do it. The 3x5 plate on the top front of the hydraulic system top cover is the place to do it. If you're sitting on the tractor look straight down between your knees and you'll see it. It's got 4 bolts holding it down on the corners and a larger bolt centered left-to-right near the front. You can either replace that plate with a remote valve, which you can get in a variety of styles, or you can put a "power beyond" plate under the plate that's there.
