The rear knob is flow control, Controls rate of lift when made in small incerments. The front knob is ASC, auxilary service control, Is pushed in unless using auxilary port on liftcover.

| Not to hijack your thread David, but I'm dealing with the same issue on a 5000 I just picked up, however my asc won't even budge. I assume it's in the out pos'n (3-pt not working) but can someone verify how much plastic sleeve should be exposed in the out pos'n? (Mine is showing approx 1 inch. ) I'll most likely be removing the top cover in hopes of seeing something, but waiting on service manual to get here. Thanks all, Mike
