I am finishing up on the ford 641 and need to install the rear
tires. I have already Installed the rear whelk centers to the
tractor. I need to get the bolts/washers/nuts for the rear rims
now cause the old ones were burnt out with a torch

I will be heading to the hardware store in a few minutes. What
do I need to bolt the rear wheels to the centers??

Thanks guys!

The original bolts were 5/8"-18tpi (fine thread) carriage bolts about 2-3/4" long. You will never find a fine thread carriage bolt in a hardware store. You can buy exact replacements from a seller on Fleabay or you can buy 5/8"-11tpi (coarse thread) carriage bolts 3" long at the hardware store.

Additionally, the OEM fine thread carriage bolts are available from CNH at about $9.00 each (several years ago) or from Dennis Carpenter for $3.00 ea (bolt only) or $24.00 for a set of 6 bolts, nuts and non standard washers.

I always got 5/8" x 3" grader bolts. They are a grade 8 carrige bolt that i aquire from a heavy equipment supplier. A dozen cost less than $12. That was without nuts on them.
