The original bolts were 5/8"-18tpi (fine thread) carriage bolts about 2-3/4" long. You will never find a fine thread carriage bolt in a hardware store. You can buy exact replacements from a seller on Fleabay or you can buy 5/8"-11tpi (coarse thread) carriage bolts 3" long at the hardware store.

| | Additionally, the OEM fine thread carriage bolts are available from CNH at about $9.00 each (several years ago) or from Dennis Carpenter for $3.00 ea (bolt only) or $24.00 for a set of 6 bolts, nuts and non standard washers. Dean
