Ford airport tug.

Yes I have determined this is an old Ford airport tug. It has model #21201-77 stamped on the clutch housing. Yes it definitely has a torque converter. I would like to find a parts breakdown for the transmission and rear end. We are going to put these parts on the shelf & I would like to find part #'s. Ag parts book doesn't show a torque converter drive. Any help would be appreciated. I would even pay rent and shipping both ways to borrow a book or pay some copying costs. Thanks, Dave

From some quick Googling, the 21201-77 should have the same 4 speed transmission as any other 21201 light industrial model but instead of a regular clutch it has a torque converter, apparently to lessen the stress when starting off while pulling lots of weight, like a big old airplane. If you've only got the back half of the tractor and don't have the actual torque converter, you should be able to go by the regular 4 speed transmission parts pages in the parts book for the internal transmission parts and the rear end should be the same as any other 63-64 2000 light industrial.

I have a shop manual for that tractor, but not a parts manual. Let me know if that helps.
