Ford 860 engine rebuild kits

I've been on the prowl looking engine overhaul kits for the 860 that I picked up with broken rod.
I'm trying to figure out the package here on YTMAG that has this[color=darkblue:956aa305b4]?(Contains Super power set overbore to 4.0" PK109 sleeve and piston kit (Part No: BEKF109M-LCB)) [/color:956aa305b4]
I'm assuming the cylinder must be bored out to accomodate these bigger sleeve? If I was to go this route just how much more power is a guy gonna pick up? Anything noticable on the seat? I'm doubtful, and am leaning towards the 3.9 STD bore sleeve kits.

TIA.

Had a cousin with a 960 that he had the 4 inchers installed. There was a considerable increase in power, and yes you could definately feel it from the seat. Don't think you have to do anything to the block as they used a thin wall sleeve to get to 4 inches. You will gain almost 9 cubic inches displacement. Joe

Back 40 some years ago when I was farming big time, I put a set of 4 inch pistons in my 960.. Hardly noticed the differenc in the seat of my pants, but went to the gas barrel oftener. Back to standard the next overhaul
