Do they have lift arms that are longer, have bends in them or what to use the same mounted equipment as a 600-800 would use? I ran a 641 for years and never thought there would be a difference. First: all of the Row Crops share the same rear end. There is no difference between the 7XX and 9XX rear ends. The ring gear in the RC is on the opposite side of the pinion gear than on the Ag/Ut models due to the fact that the "drop boxes" cause a reversal in the direction of rotation. Therefore the axles have to rotate in the opposite direction to prevent the tractor from having 4 reverse speeds and 1 forward speed (assuming a 4 speed trans). Second: The lower lift arm and top link connections are completely different on the RC. [Reply]  [No Email]

Seen pictures but couldn"t tell without having them side by side. Looked like the 3rd arm(top link) was longer too. Guessed that was because of the taller hight of the rear end. So, if you find a 961 that really doesn"t fit in your shed, let me know. There"s an empty stall in the new shed that might be looking for one. [Reply]  [No Email]
