Of course you never know with one that does not run and if the person is true to there word or>.. If me I would check for spark and if you find non then good chance a simple hot wire and or cleaning of the points would fix it. We picked up an 8N a few years ago side mount distributor and 4 or 5 pieces of equipment for $800 and my friend asked me how we going to load all this stuff and I said simple with the tractor. The guy who sold it took off and 10 minutes after he left my friend was driving it around all be it on flat rear tires but we got every thing loaded up that way [Reply]   [No Email]

I've been taken twice now, so I'm a little gun shy. But I feel I can believe the lady with the history she has given me and just how she talks of her equipment in general. It did surprise me when she said it had not run in about a year that there was still a bit of juice left in the battery to give it a couple turns. That made me happy it wasn't stuck. We'll see. In my neck of the woods (pacific NW) about 1200$ would be the low end and rapidly up from there. I paid about where you are at for mine and it needed a head, but has a loader.
