I would like to mount 9 bolt rims on my 9000. Any body know of an adapter made that attaches to the axle? I am currently using the dual mount hubs, and would like something lighter.

the dual hubs are pretty light as it is. I have a set on our 9000
for the duals. Maybe have some machined from billet
aluminum. Do they make aluminum rims this size?

How much weight are you trying to save? If you dont need the
PTO you might be able to drop the PTO gears out to save
weight. Would have to check if anything needs to be supported
in there. I assume this is your pulling tractor?

Yes, This is the puller. I am thinking of dropping down to 7000 to pull in enhanced classes because there are very few coming out with the '66 and newer to pull in the heavy farm stock classes. I had it down to about 7500 when I was pulling in 8,000 by removing the hydraulics. My plan is to go down to 18.4s because I could shed about 400 lbs on the tires alone. I would rather not break down the tires/rims that I am on now in case I want to go back up. I was hoping that some one had hubs that would slide on and be held in place by a key.
