Rickhoot 10-08-2012 16:57:26 70.251.81.189 Report to Moderator	My 2910 Ford lift is Hiccuping. I read through the post and found some of the same issues. I didn"t find out the solution. I have my lift cover off and all the valve plugs out as well as the piston. The valve bodies look good! The cyclinder has some scuffing as well as the piston. The O-ring and nylon ring look good! I will replace all o-rings and check all the adjustment in the set up (manuel). Maybe someone could guide me in the right direction here. The other guy put his all back together and it still had the Hiccup problem. Please help! Thanks [Reply]   [No Email]

I also found the 2910 tractor I have has a cyclinder from a 4110 which has a 3.5" bore. Really confuseded the NH Dealership parts boys. I just bought for the 4110 like I knew what I was doing. Honed and resealed the lift cyclinder and relpaced all the valves o rings and works great so far. Thanks for all the help. Rickhoot [Reply]  [No Email]

My rule of thumb with any hydraulic system is: if you can feel the scratch when you run your finger nail over it, it needs to be repaired or replaced. What is happening when the 3PH hiccups is: The pressure drops off in the system, and the lift lowers a bit, until the control energizes and provides more oil pressure to send it back up again. So, all you need to do is find where it is leaking. It may be the cylinder, any of the connection points, or the relief valve may be faulty. Keep looking and you will find it! You can make an adapter and run the top cover (off the tractor with air pressure) this is a lot easier to find leaks. Post back with what you find! Brian [Reply]  [No Email]
