I know this is not the N board but I don't know anyone over there. This tractor came into a scrap yard complete. The guys in the back had the tank and carb cleaned. Runs great and everything works and even the tires are good. Sheet metal not great but all there. I traded a bulk oil tank for it. It is hidden in the weeds where we keep our equipment that happens to be near the scrap yard.I guess everybody has at least one N in their life.

Looks like a late model 8N with a 12 volt conversion to boot.
I'd say you got a great deal!

These old Fords are amazin'. I bought this for a parts tractor. It has double rib fenders, smooth axles, and a lot of other '39 parts. I soaked the cylinders for several days with ATF and got the engine running. Everything works on it. Now in a quandary as to what to do with it.

Hey Ron!

I bought the parts 640 from you a while back. We had fun changing the trailer tire huh?

An N with good hydraulics and a hyster pole would be handy as a shirt pocket around your yard. Use it to lift and move the stuff you know you should not try to lift and move by yourself. I know you are good with that big trackhoe, but this would get stuff in and out of tight spots. But I'd cover it for sure if you can't park it in the dry.

Yep, a '50 or later N with 12v conversion would be nice to keep around in the yard. As far as the sheet metal, well, "pretty is as pretty does"...
