Topic: 1969 3000 left side decals

I have the 3000 with the air cleaner on the left side not going up the hood. The decals I got are for the right side how does it fit or look on the left side its way to long Does it just say ford on the left side or are my left side decals set wrong

| | If your 3000 gasser is a 5/68 and newer it should look like the one that Sean posted or this one below - ie no 3000 on the left side.

|  When we replaced mine the left side was run under the air intake.

| The ones that I've seen with the later sheet metal and the air filter on the left side like that have a decal that just says Ford on the hood panel in front of the air filter like this one.
The ones with the earlier sheet metal with the louvered hood panels has an even smaller "Ford" only decal behind the air filter on the side of the dash tin.

| | Our '65 3000 (louvered hood) still has the original decals on both sides: Ford 3000 (red letters) on white background. Is on both sides, including behind the air cleaner. Haven't been able to find a set like it - one set I found has a silver background. Also, I found that at least some of the replacement rpm/ground speed/pto speed decals for the dash don't match the numbers on our still-original decal. Haven't found an exact match of that, either.
