Just bought the tractor, the power steering isn't working. If you take the cap off the power steering pump when tractor is running, the oil inside is all foamy. Is the pump shot?

| Couple quick questions, in the power steering system what kind of oil do you use? hydraulic oil?
If the filter doesn't help, I want to test the pressure of the pump to see if thats okay. What fittings do I need and what should the pressure be?

You use the UTF like Hy-Tran in the power steering. Should say it meets 134D spec.
Not sure of the pressure. Might want to post as a new question as this is now on page 2 +.

| could just be a clogged filter. I would change the fluid and filter first and see if that helps.
