Iam parting out a 671 selecto speed and wondering what I should ask for the selecto speed tranny. It is not working properly.

I sold the flywheel to Showcrop and scrapped the rest when I replaced the SOS in my 4000.

Yes, keep that flywheel. They have other uses. or I can check with some one who may like to keep spares on hand.

I offered one to a fellow I know who works on them a lot. He already had plenty.

I was given one for free. The owner pulled it out and installed a 4 speed.

Parts SOS transmissions are generally worth (at most) scrap price as there is very little demand.

One can often find them for the asking.
