DenisW 09-15-2012 15:01:34 24.23.51.61 Report to Moderator	Need to replace front tires on Ford 851 with Wagner loader. Tires are 6.50-16, 6 ply and rated load of 1610 lbs. Local tire stores, two of them, that deal in truck and tractor tires say they can get the 6.50-16, 6 ply with 1200 lbs load. I am thinking that 1200 lb load is not enough with loader. Has anyone else had this problem? [Reply]   [No Email]

Currently have 7.5X15 tri rib on one side, truck tire making do (w tube) on other. Both rims are pretty crappy, lots of welds and bunch of rust. Then you can get cheap (free, some places) used load range E pickup tires, if that's what you want to run. I don't run them, or even multi-ribs on my loader tractor, as I'm in clay, and any time it gets wet, I need the extra steering traction a 3-rib gives. 3-ribs work better when that tractor is on the mower, too. Go with 8-ply. That will be heavy enough for a 3000 (or a 4000 SU) with a loader. Probably 7.50's... any wider and they may not clear your spindles. I'm probably going to step up to 10 ply on my 4600... I've ruined too many 8-ply when I'm loading high moisture bales and 5'x6' dry bales...   [Reply]  [No Email]

The sit wider and flatter so with the loader I have keeps it form digging in in soft ground and also works well on snow   [Reply]  [No Email]
