I know this topic has been discussed before, but maybe we can talk about it one more time.:) We have to change the PTO shaft on the NAA because the splines between the shaft and the adaptor (1-3/8") are almost gone. We will be going with the larger size shaft to get rid of the adaptor. My question is, Does the shaft go through all 3 sumps; diffy, hyd, and tranny? The FIL wants to save the oil that comes out when we pull the shaft and pour it back in when done. I told him that we may have a mixture of 3 kinds of oil if we do that. Hopefully I will be able to talk him into draining everything and adding new oil to all. If we do this, it seems to be the concensus of this forum to use 134 in all 3 places. Does that sound about right? Thanks much. |

| If you have a vane pump 134 may give you loss of lift power in hot weather. |

| Does the Pto lever need to be engaged when I pull the shaft out? I seem to remember reading that somewhere. |
