'67 Ford 4500 tractorThe bottom bearing on the front steering spindle won't take grease, through the joint. Replaced the zerk with a known working one, same thing. Any tricks to get the joint flowing grease? |

| Sometimes a little heat helps. |

| Yup. Get out the rosebud. Remove the tire first so it doesn't catch fire or blow up. |

| Jack up the front end. If that doesn't do it, remove the zerk and get a small O-ring pick. Remove all the compacted grease/dirt you can from behind the zerk. Try it again. Still no luck, get a zerk buster. Fill it with ATF or penetrating oil. Whack it hard with a ball peen hammer. If that fails, you're disassembling to find the problem. |
