Had one follow me home today. How do I get the brake release to release? I have tried it in booth positions, up and down but I cannot get the brake to release. Any help? |

| My 4000 was doing the same thing. If Ultradog's suggestion doesn't work, you may have to play with the pawl (the toothed piece that the T-handle moves, that engages the other toothed piece attached to the left brake pedal arm). Mine had developed excess play and the pawl would slide sideways on its shaft so that it was binding with the pedal arm. I added a couple of washers on the shaft to keep it lined up properly. Works great now. |

| I'm assuming you tried this but just in case... With the T handle in the down position try stepping on the left brake. That should release it. |

| I finally got it released but I need to look at a bit more. It took a bf screwdriver to get it to release. The brakes are set up with the pawl that connects both brakes at the same time. I may try releasing that for awhile. Thanks for the info |
