Would any of you guys with an 801 series tractor help me out with a measurement? Was able to buy a clean tank for my 861 from a user on here but it needs a little welding repair before I replace the 601 tank that's on it now. I need the measurement from the right side of front mounting bracket (opposite of heat shield mounting holes) to the center of mounting bolt. Was going to have the shop weld a 3/8" washer and bolt on it so it will drop into the bracket. I measured on my current 601 tank and it comes to 7 1/2" but on the 801 tank, where it's damaged, it looks like the center of bolt should be at 7 1/4". Not sure if they're different but would feel better telling the shop the dimensions off of an 801 instead of guessing at it. |
