Hello

Im power washing this 1959 841 with FWD and I would like to come a little in the ball park of show room, so when repainting would you match up the ford color perfect or come close?

Thanks for any feedback!

New Holland builds and sells Fiats. The last thing they care about is old Ford tractor colors. If you are looking for show room you will need to get automotive paint from an automotive paint jobber. and you will need to take a body panel such as the lower dash and battery box to them to get it digitally analyzed and reproduced. You have about fifty hours of prep ahead of you so you don't need to worry about your paint yet.

If you really want your tractor to look original, you should consider getting the red and gray paint from your New Holland dealer. It's marked as 39/62 for the years and so as to not confuse it with other paint they sell. It's expensive but in my opinion looks the best.

Interesting that they would sell it for 39-62.
They were all gray through 47 and in 57 they changed the formula and made the color a little more orange than the 48-56 models.

It's your tractor so paint it any color that you like.
