New cap solved the last problem. Now have spark, still will not start, even with a shot of ether into the air inlet of the carb. Though, it did cough back once. Guess tomorrow I do a compression test and check the cylinders. Changed the spark plugs out and the old ones were wet/gassy from all the cranking while searching for the spark issue. So much for "ran when parked"..... |

| | pull plugs and clean em... do a thumb test on each cyl make sure you have valve action. if she does indeed have spark, squirt a bit of gas in each cyl and put plugs in and roll over. yeah.. it washes the cyl down a bit..but this is a test..e tc. you can always opt to re-oil the cyl and comp test her correctly.. etc. |

| You might just have enough built up gas in the cylinders that it's fouling the plugs again. Pull the plugs again and check for wetness. Or hook a chain on it and pull start it. I would try pull starting it myself. |

| I would too, except one of the rear rims is rotted from Calcium. New one ordered but not here yet. |

| Pull the plugs out and spin it over with them out to clear the gas out of the cylinders. If I remember right this is still 6 volts right?? If it is do this and it will not hurt a thing. Drop a 12 volt battery into it and try to start it. That will give it a tad bit hotter spark and spin it over a lot fast so it can start a good bit easier. Then let it run say 10-15 minutes shut it down then stick the 6 volt battery back in and give it a try. Almost bet it fires up if you do the 12 volt battery thing |
