Fill hole for the rear end/3 point hydraulics is on top of rear axle center housing under where you right butt cheek is when you're sitting on the tractor. Level check hole is on the right side near where you right foot is when you're sitting on the tractor. Transmission is a separate sump no matter what transmission you have on a 3000. The S-O-S transmission has a single hole on the right side near where the trans housing bolts to the rear axle center housing. That single hole is for filling and for checking the level of the fluid. Both the rear end/3 point hydraulics sump and the S-O-S transmission sump should get a UTF that meets the Ford/New Holland M2C134D specification. You should get yourself an owner's manual, as all of this is covered in there, along with pictures of where the fill and level check holes are. If you aim to do more than regular maintenance yourself, a service manual is recommended as well.. [Reply]  [No Email]

You fill it through the check plug hole. Trans uses NH 134 hydraulic fluid, just like the other sumps do. [Reply]  [No Email]
