So Long story short. My 3600 developed a small hesitation at wide open throttle so I quickly found out I had a dirty fuel tank and I cleaned it to where now I get a strong stream of fuel out of the tank as before it would barely drip. Replaced the filter and now I can"t get fuel to come out on the top of the filter housing bleeder plug screw. I have a good strong steady stream coming from the tank line but nothing at that bleeder screw on the filter housing. Am I missing something? Thanks for any ideas. |

| | Is the tank full? If the tank is near empty the fuel level is probably below the bleed screw or just above it... and with filter resistance it doesn't want to bleed. Regardless... just fill the tank. Bleed the filter. Bleed the pump body. Then open all three injectors and crank at WOT until you get good steady shots of fuel at at least two injectors. Then close them up and start. Rod |

| There is about 3/4 tank of fuel. When I drained it I got out over ten gallons. I used about a gallon to help rinse out the tank so I know there is at least 10 gallons in therte or close to it. I'm thinking that's enough. My next thing is I'm going to make sure I put the o rings where they belong on the filter. It does take big orings and one tiny one and one small one where the hole of the filter mates witht he part that goes into it on the filter housing right? The only other thing is maybe some dirt got into the filter housing on top so I'm going to remove it and make sure it's free flowing towards the outlet. Thanks |

| I'd still fill the tank... stranger things have happened than to fight something simple like that. The orings... the smaller flat one is for the bottom of the filter; the larger flat for the top. The thumb sized round oring is for the center of the filter housing where the filter contacts it. Most NH filter kits also have two tiny ones... one for the shoulder of the housing retainer bolt and one for the drain/thumb screw. If you're not getting much fuel into the filter with 3/4 tank I'd say there's an obstruction there somewhere, mabey in the line. Compressed air will blow it out. Just remove it from the tank first...Rod |

| Update! It turned out I had one of the big flat orings in the groove where the fuel goes into the fuel filter. After I corrected the problem I got it running like a top in 5 minutes. Thanks for the input! Problem was the Wix filter comes with three of the big flat oring seals where you only need two therefore caused me some confusion. Thanks! |

| Have someone pull you off will start in about fifty feet. Put tractor in high gear and keep clutch depressed. After the tractor starts rolling well release the clutch and the tractor will start. Then wave for the puller to stop. |
