I pulled the radiator on my NAA and took it in to local radiator shop that is known for doing good work. Cost for re-core is between $300.00 -$350.00. A new Cheap Chinese radiator is $215.00. with a two year warranty. (I looked at one they had in stock,..not impressed.)
Decided for a re-core with all new U.S.A. made coils and a 5 year warranty. More coils and better construction on the re-core. I know this topic has been discussed alot on this site,..but the difference in a cheap new radiator vs. a good re-core seems to be considrable. Just wondered what ever happened to being able to get a good NEW U.S.A. built radiator. Must be a cost factor.

I have a good radiator from a 600 that has been repaired. I bought a new one because I put in a 292 motor for tractor pulling. I"ll be going to Morley Mi. sat. for a tractor pull from Arcola In.. If you might be interested, give me a call.
260-625-3152 I"m thinking perhaps the price of a motel[around $80.00] Leave a message if I"m not home.

Thanks John,I'll definately consider that option. Just waiting to hear from the radiator shop if I really need a re-core or just a solder job. First look they said a re-core,..but said they would check it over and pressure test it to be sure.

Thanks for calling. What are the odds that I would be going almost past your place sat. on a 225 mile trip. Glad you got yours fixed. If anyone needs a good rad., give me a call.

At the price structure I have A&I set at, if I were to quote a NEW radiator for an NAA it would be 311.00. I'm sure there are other dealers out there that might sell for less, but you can't hang around long if you don't make some money. A&I's radiator's come from Ireland, and every one I have seen looked pretty good to me. I have not had a complaint on an A&I radiator I have sold. Can't say the same about another aftermarket supplier I used to deal with, but for the most part his parts were all coming from China. Go figure!!

I"ll have to check about an A&I radiator and see if they are available around here. There are several radiator shops in the area,(Grand Rapids,MI.). I only checked with three that were close to where I live. Maybe I"ll do a little more investigating before I let this shop re-core mine. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

If you don't find one locally, just have one of the guys that mentioned A&I order it and have it drop-shipped to you. It'll show up right on your doorstep so fast it will make your head swim.

A & I is a parts distributor.

Clancy is an Irish radiator manufacturer that once supplied tractor radiators to Ford.

If looking on eBay and the price is too good to be true, you'll most likely end up with Chinese stuff. Some sellers on there use A&I's catalog pictures and you can see the A&I watermark in the picture. If you decide to purchase off of that site, you might be best to qustion the seller first before buying and see if he's actually selling you an A&I radiator or just using their picture.

I also sell Clancy radiators through A&I and have had great results. My pricing is similar.
