Over the years there have been questions about wide front axles for the early row crops (700/900) with the one-piece front pedestal. Here's one for sale and the middle photo shows it well. You can see the original pedestal hanging down behind the axle. You can't see how the steering is connected to it.
P.S. The 901 grille is not correct for this tractor.

Appears to have dual remotes and a p/s cylinder but no p/s pump. (or fan shroud or exhaust pipe) Fenders look original, but I'd guess the hood as well as the grill is from a 901 - I don't see the embossed Ford script on it, and the nose medalion looks like the remnants of an x01 medalion. I agree with Ultra though - seems like a pretty good deal. If it were about 900 miles closer, I'd have to go take a look.

I couldn't do that to a 900.

That would be a good deal if a guy needed some cheap horsepower. Rear tires look nearly new.

I agree, looks to be a good deal even if ugly.

Good tires, new radiator, fenders look good and are hard to find, PA rims, and at least a single spool remote (can't tell from picture).

The engine appears to have been changed and it appears to be an industrial engine.

It's less than 100 miles from me but I have far too much stuff now.

Dean,
That's Georgetown, TX on I35 just north of Austin. I bet that's a little bit more than 100 miles from you. FWIW: I got my Private Pilot License at the Georgetown, TX Airport 31 years ago.

Right you are.

There are so many Ford tractors advertised in the Georgetown, OH area that I made an incorrect assumption.

Now, that is one ugly set-up.
