How complex is a 801 Caberator?

I turned the fuel on my tractor the other day to start it for a second, and I noticed fuel running out of the intake of the carburetor, I had no air filter piping on it due to a restoration, I figured its time to be rebuilt,

How many parts are inside of it? I have rebuilt many ATV carburetors and Quadrajets just wondering if these will be easier or harder? and I seen a kit somewhere the other day for $28 and I can not remember where

Very simple........main thing is to not destroy soft brass jets trying to remove them (I claim an UN-necessary step, but some disagree) AND to be absolutely sure ALL the tiny passages are clear/clean.

Here's a diagram to give you an idea.

Very simple. I probably wouldn't remove the jet either unless I simply could not get it clean with a piece of piano wire. Most likely you simoply have a sticking float valve or some dirt on it's seat.
The jets in this things are not like the little Mikuni's.... it takes a lot to plug them due to their size. Just clean the gum from the bowl and jet, check the float and slap it back together. Might not even need a kit.

If you can do a quada-junk then you can do a tractor carb. Big thing with a tractor carb is getting it as clean as it needs to be. They like to hold on tight to the little pieces of rust that will cause you major problems

I just rebuilt my Yamaha Grizzly 600 Carb, I had a set of wire gauge drill bits that worked great for cleaning out the small passages
