Boy thats pretty . Is that grey original or something different . It seems a little darker than I use . But its a beaut anyhow . Nice job . God bless old Fords & the history behind them . Ken

This is the correct gray. Ford made 3 different grays, the dark gray for 9N & before. The medium gray which this is . It goes on 8N NAA 100 & 01 series . Ford also has the light gray which goes with the blue tractors . To me it looks like a off white . Tractor Supply sells the light gray & calls it Ford Gray which is right if you are painting a blue 2000 or 3000. It gets sort of confusing some time

I did the ford script by hand with a small art brush very slowely . When it doesnt go where I want it to I wipe it off & try again. I have tries spunge brushes & rollers byr I have never been able to make them work

Very nice! good to see the correct gray. Many get painted the incorrect light gray. Two of mine came that way. Were you able to buy decals with the "gear" on them? I found the same remains of it as you did under the paint on my 1957 960. I drew and hand cut "gears" to go on it.
