My tractor is a 3000 diesel with the 8 speed trans. Time to replace oils in drive system. I intend to use the 134 fluid in the 8 speed trans. My dealer could not identify the rear end oil using the subject spec. numbers. I guess its a 80W gear oil but I want to get the right oil. Need some sugestions as to what brand and part number to look for. I am somewhat limited to Carquest and Valvoline(NAPA). Thanks,

Use the 134 in hyd too. That 80# to thick for hyd pump to pump in colder weather. Mite be fine in this Texas heat, 100* plus for 60 somedays strait.

a 3000 with an 8spd has 2 rear sumps.. tranny and a combined hyd / gear case.

use 134 in both.

napa and carquest carry a generic house brand UTF fluid meeting the M2C134 spec.

carquest here usually has coastal and house brand.. sometimes coastal is even a buck cheaper.. most generics are made by warren unilube anyway.. so don't matter what flavor.. it's better oil that was available in 65-75
