860 lift repairs

After assembling the 860 last month I discovered the lift would not work in position or draft mode. 1st thing I checked was if the pump was putting out....got an oil shower doing that, plenty of output.

This weekend I pulled the lift cover to check the unloading valve & reset the linkage adjustments.

The cam follower pin was worn about halfway thru, so that threw off everything else. After changing the pin I reset the adjustments.

Had a heck of a time w/ the unloading valve. I couldn't figure out a way to pull the plug w/o the special tool.

As my time was running out I decided to put the cover back on until next trip & deal w/ the valve then.

Turns out position control works fine, but draft is not lifting a load. The tractor picks up the 6' shredder easily & holds it full range of motion.

The links will go up & down in draft mode, but it wouldn't pick up the mower.

I guess the unloading valve is fine, but now I need to figure out the draft problem, though I'll probably never use it on the 860.
