Earlier Post---bought an 860 (Live PTO) that came with an ORC on it....of course not necessary with the Live PTO....
This weekend unhooked the brush cutter from the 8N and hooked up to the 860 after I had taken the ORC off of it.....had to "stretch" the drive shaft that had been previously cut to "fit" the 8N so it would connect to the 860....
When I engaged the mower there was an extreme amount of vibration with that shaft stretched out almost to the end, so I put the ORC back on the 860 and the mower runs fine with no vibration......
Now I know why the P.O. was running his mower with the ORC on the 860-----the P.O. had a 2N previous to the 860.....makes sense.
This drivel may help someone that is buying a used brush cutter....
