Ford 641 exhaust valve rotator?

1961 F

I bought a 641 that wasn't running and the previous owner had the head "redone". The timing was way off and the valves needed adjustment. Now it starts and runs fine but I have read about exhaust valve rotator caps and my engine doesn't have these. When the head was redone could they have replaced the valves with a different type that don't need the caps? I haven't run the engine much because of this so will I damage the engine by running it? Should all 641 engines have these rotator caps and where can I purchase them? Thanks in advance.

Just my best guess don't take it to the bank,,, it can be run with out the rotator cap,,, the cap is the same as a 8N free rotating cap... I would want the cap even if the rotator did not work...

nnalert will have them....
