Just thought it would be cool to have a thread that shares pics of all of our Ford Tractors

Here is mine!

No longer own this 861. Was a very nice tractor while I owned it.
This jubilee is just now getting all the sheet metal finish painted.

It is sitting up on the snow that you can't see.The depression was left by the wide turf tires I took off.

Dean,
That is correct.A donor LCG had these on the back so I figured I would give them a chance.I since have removed the front tires and will be putting on 16" tires to level it better.

You know I saw those big turf tires behind the Lull and wondered if that was the case. And that is snow in the picture? I thought it was beach sand..............just kidding....

(quoted from post at 14:47:13 03/05/11) Here's my 640, not much to look at, did repaint the hood gray to match fenders.
Best thing about it is it's paid for.

And that makes it look even better! :D

That 6000 looks pretty nice. Great job!! Not too many of those 6000 RC's around. At least I haven't seen that many around here.

Thanks for the comment. I've put some time into getting her to look that good. But thanks to alot of guys on this site like soundguy,Dean,Jmor, old, and others,it turned out pretty good. Believe it or not I still have a couple of minor things to do to it yet. All the pictures are cool so far. I enjoy seeing everybody's tractor no matter what shape it is in.

FarmerBlair, I saw your picture where you said you rebuilt your torque limiter. How did you go about rebuilding it? I have an 841 with an Elenco. Not even sure my torque converter is good or not at this point, just trying to learn all I can. Thanks, Pat

Good post. I like seeing other people's Fords,
whether ready to show, or in their work clothes.
My pic has my cars and truck as well as my tractors,
and is outdated... the '83 F250 has been replaced by
an '01 F350 ex.cab, and the '72 9600 has been
replaced by an '89 TW35.

Hello Pat,
Yes we managed to rebuild the torque limiter. My neighbor is a friend and runs a machine shop (good friend to have!) and we came up with a way to do it. I'll make a separate post with pics.

She's keeping her working clothes on, but I sure enjoy running her when I get to. Didn't get to blade quite as much snow this year, but I usually get some quality time with the brush hog spring and summer. :D :D

ALL of the tractors posted in this thread look GREAT, but I believe this has got to be the coolest tractor that I have seen. AWESOME, Thanks for posting it !!!!

Hey Trac1,...which one are you mentioning about? Anxious to see which one it is?

Thanks detmurds. wanted to do it for many years, put some money aside when times were good and got the time when things changed. a massive money pit but delighted with the way it turned out. now it will be a family heirloom. could not have done it without the help of the guys on this site

It is what this site is all about if you ask me, and it is even more meaningful if it is a tractor that was handed down. My fondness for my FORD tractor (even though I bought it from a stranger), is that I am from the Detroit area, and my father and grandfather both worked a the nearby FORD Auto Plant in Metro Detroit. My father always wanted to get a Ford Tractor but never did, he died at the age of 43 with much of his money saved. He was always proud to work for that beautiful Blue Oval, but always concerned about the stinking unions forcing a strike, so he saved. Some how I just picture my dad on my 59 Workmaster and giggling while doing so.

here are my two babies. The golden jubilee was purchased new by my grandfather in 53 and i had it restored last year. The 4000SU is a 71 and i purchased in in 2005. Both are awesome tractors.

NICE!

Keep em coming fellas!

[b:fcaa8fe41f]I love Ford Tractor pictures! [/b:fcaa8fe41f] [u:fcaa8fe41f][/u:fcaa8fe41f]

Nice! Couple of questions on the 4000SU.. Is that a Ford ROPS and canopy? Also, those front tires look pretty beefy. What size are they, and do they rub at all?

Thanks!
Greg

Yes the canopy is original which not many were ordered with this option back in 1971. The canopy should be painted white which i will do next go around. As for the tire sizes the rear are 16.9x28 which now they are 14.9x28 as oem. The fronts are 2 sizes bigger than oem but the same size as oem for 1987 and later SU's. Makes it ride much better and no they do not rub. These are really awesome tractors for non front end loader type work. I do mostly bushhoging and disking type work.

Hey Petra79,...I love that POWERMASTER! Beautiful! I'm a sucker for Workmasters and Powermasters big time.

OT--- Leo I am trying to contact you with a question or two about your hyd remote you have on your jubilee. If you read this PLEASE get back to me as I have just purchased a remote identical to your's. My e-mail is [email protected]. PH 812-508-2879.
Thanks; Dan Robertson
