have a 2000 ford the 3 point hitch will not lift was working and just stopped any ideas where to start looking did change oil said it was milky

there are 2 2000 ford tractors, a 3 cyl post 65 version, and a 4 cyl version.

the hyd pumps are different, some top cover differences inthe hyds as well.

do you have remote hyd valves?

any presure there?

are you sure you have filled the correct compartment to the correct level after draining and flushing the hyds.

did you use the correct fluid.. IE a UTF oil meeting the ford spec M2C134D ?

did you bleed the pump? or the rest of the system?

ont he 4 cyl jobs you can remove a front/top plug from the head and crank over till oil bubbles out.

on both 3 and 4 cyl, is there is no hyd valve on the top cover you can also pull the plug in the 3x5 option cover and look for oil there as well.

I can not say for sure but have heard that in cases like this you need to pressurize the hyd's to get the pump working again. I do not have my manual here or know if it even mention in it. I was told that what you want to do is force oil up to the pump to prime it. Again, I was told you can pull the dip stick and blow some air pressure in there to get it done. I myself have never had to do it.
