851-D Ford Tractor fuel pump

It was getting fuel in the oil. I replaced seals in fuel pump shaft. Now want start? It has a slot (not gear) shaft. Does it have to be timed to the motor? I put shaft back together on the marked slot same way it came out. What is the correct way to put the pump back together?

I have never had any luck bleeding the air out of my pump when I've had it off of my 861D. If you put everything back together like it came apart then I'd give it a shot of ether to get it started and it will self-bleed.
