I have already asked about this a couple weeks ago but left something out. If I crank the tractor and let it warm up, shift into any gear realese the inching petal, the petal returns on its on to the corect position but tractor wont move. If I take my foot and raise or pull the petal past the normal position as in straight up and hold it the tractor moves as it is supposed to but if I release the inching petal to return to the normal position it quits pulling. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong and how much to fix it. I live in Mississippi and was wondering if anyone knows anybody close by that works on them. Thanks

Steve:

As I suggested earlier, have you verified that the return spring is properly attached and not broken?

You need a manual to get the top cover off to check the linkage and spring. It's not a big job done right but you can screw things up if done wrong. It probably is the spring, or the hole it hooks in, and fix should take under a coupla hours.

Thanks Dean and Rick just trying to make sure before I dig in. I have the Manual and it shows how to take the top off. Just gotta read it several times and make sure I understand it. Thanks again
