1970 Ford 4000 Power Steering Cylinder Rebuild Question

Looking for a source besides NH for power steering cylinder rebuild parts for a 3 cyl 4000. The cylinder and shaft are fine but would like to service the valve area.

Starndard o rings will fit but under pressure they don't seal off properly and you loose pressure and normally oil as well. Other companies used to do a repair kit but they decided to make you replace the ram with their own which is $600 Aust minimum. NH does have the proper seals for the original ram for about $65 aust.

in columbia, s.c. Harrison Gaines & son has repair parts if you know the sizes. or are close enough to go by with the old stuff. i saved $70 on seals and o-rings on my steering cylinder. they can also make any part of the cylinder you need. you can probably find a shop like this close to home. also you can find all you need at ROCKET SEALS.COM
