Hello everyone. My 3600 is leaking fluid from the steering column. How big of a job is to replace the seals in the column? Any special tools needed? Should I flush the system at this time?
Thanks, Barry

seal and an oring... otherwise a royal pain in the butt as you have to pull the cowling off to get to the steering colum.

I have a Word Doc with pictures that I wrote up for another site. email me and I'll send it to you, I just replacedd mine.

I take it your shaft was not pitted? Mines been leaking for in the past and the PO replaced it before. I decided to use the speedi sleve in the kit

Real commom problem. The fix is not difficult.
John TR just did it and can help you.
I've gotten so I wouldn't remove the cowel for any reason without also replacing that seal.
Mine's been 3 years since I did it and still holding - knock, knock
