Slowly progressing on the 860 prep work, I wire-cupped the rust & old paint off one of the rear wheels & center. Already treated w/ phosphoric but decided to get a pic before priming............

As you can see quite a bit of the original cad plating is still there. Haven't decided whether I'll order some of that pricey Eastwood cad plate paint or use the same Plasti-Cote industrial aluminum like I used on the 8N.
