I went to use the tractor yesterday and could not get the starter to work, it would only click. It has done that the last few times I have used it. I have been jumping it off but this time it didn't work. I put a new battery in and still the same thing. With a test light I was getting a small amount of power to the starter and to the output on the selinoid. I replaced the four post selnoid with a new one and now no power from the output post. I have it wired the same as the old one with the starter button wire going to the S on the selnoid. The I post has power with the key on. I removed and claned all wires ends. The cables look good. Is the new selnoid bad or have I done something wrong here?

You most likely bought the wrong relay. In fact if you can read power at the I post with the key on and can NOT read power at the S post I know you have the wrong relay.
You bought what is called a grounding relay that is used on cars; and you need a ground isolated relay.
Most auto parts stores will NOT have this relay in stock. In fact most can not even order it because it is not listed in their computer.
Napa should have it or a tractor supply place will have it.

If you want to test to see if the relay was your orginal problem before spending more $$ you can do this........
With the tractor is netural!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take off both small wires. Turn on key. Touch the hot wire (The one you had hooked to I) to the S post. It should crank. When it does remove the wire from the S post because it will keep cranking even though it has started.
If this works you now know the problem was the relay to start with but you just bought the wrong one.
