860 front axle question

I looked at an 860 yesterday. The front axle had two holes on either side where you connect the radius arm pins. It had a cut out on the grill for a pump so it may have had a loader on it at one time. I can not see it clearly in my parts manual. Was this standard or an option on the 800? Both of my 841's are 4wd so I can't tell from them.

The front axle has 2 holes for the radius rods to allow for better holding power (differant angle) when the axle is extended out.

I didn't realize, until I looked at this same picture in my Ford 4000 manual, that the radius arms were to be in the outer 2 holes (D in the picture), when the tractor was set up at 60 inches front axel width or wider. My 4000 was always set up in the inner holes (C in the picture). I wonder how many are set up wrong out there?
Keith.

Thanks John
Your picture shows it clearly. My parts manual didn"t show it that clear.
