I found a 1971 Ford 2110 tractor for sale. Power steering and has a front mount pump and reservoir on the front for a mower. It shows 2500 hrs on the dash. Everything is in real good shape but could use a clean. Tires are good 75%. What would this tractor be worth? How are they? Do they have the same reputation as the N series?

Another item: Power steering for a 2110. Found a 2110 in barn and seems to be in good cond. Needs power steering adaptation if I am to make use of it. Is it easy to adapt PS to these models?

We sold many of these of that era, they are as good as Ford's reputation was for those models back then, which I thought was quite good. Ford had a great market capturing niche of Low Center of Gravity 2110's 4110's that many muninciple type agencies purchased, strictly for mowing, a local golf course still has one we sold them, saw it the other day. The same rule applies to all equipment, depends on the maintenance and care taken by its owners during the course of its service life, which will determine whether you are getting a money pit or something that will provide many more hours without a major overhaul. We had a former NYS thruway 4000 S-0-S, that gave us many years of service, mowing, baling, snow plowing etc., that particular agency used to be great on maintenance, is probably why.

Hey Tweet, what color is your tractor. This would distinguish between Am and Japenese version.

The one I am looking at has a blue drivetrain with yellow fenders and hood.

I don't think anything can top the N. This tractor is in the 2000 series and a very good tractor but low. The hyd tank tells me that it has had a hyd sickle mower mounted on it,probably by a state mowing crew. My guess would be that it might have many more hrs than are showing. Can't give you a figure but make sure it has two leavers for trans and not one near the strg wheel.
