I'm trying to find some information regarding a 1953 - 1954 Ford Jubilee with a loader and backblade. I have an opportunity to purchase one for $4900 but would like to know if this is a fair price.

Can anyone help me?

Where is the transmission oil check plug on the Ford Jubilee transmission? I just purchased a Jubilee and am going over it to make sure all oil levels are okay. Which side of the transmission is the check plug on, and where is it located?

What's the shape of the tractor? Having both a loader and backhoe on really tax those old tractors. I would be concerned about worn bearings, bushings, bent parts and cracked castings. Most of NAAs or Ns that I have seen with loaders on need a complete front rebuild and have bent radius rods with tie rods loose etc. Adding a backhoe adds these type of problems to the rear.

Seems a little too high. In these parts, I can get one for about $3500 with a loader.

I bought mine 4 yrs ago for $3600.
Yours seems kinda high. For that, it should have darn new new tires and a GOOG fresh paint job, a working to pressure specs hydralic pump, tight steering, rebuilt engine, excellent sheet metal, and so on.

What parts are you from? Would it make a difference if I'm shopping in Minnesota?
