I have a TO20 Ferguson and it gets hard to start after it gets hot, let it sit for awhile and turn off the gas and it will finally start,I am wondering if the carb. might be out of adjustment. Is there a starting point to start adjusting the carb.I have 2 screws on the carb. a big one on the top and a small one on the side, any help would be great. Thanks for any help, Dale

Turn large screw all way in then open 1 1/4 -1 1/2 turns, small screw in then open 1/4 turn. This will get it close. I always set carb this way after cleaning and most the time I don't have to adjust it any.

The small screw on the side should be opened 7/8ths of a turn. The main is opened 1 1/4 turns, 1 3/8 turns under load. This is from the TO20 book.

Thanks to all for the help.I might even do a tune up on the tractor also with points, plugs, condensor, and wires. Thanks again Dale
