Anyone know the approximate value of a 1951 Harry Ferguson TO-20 tractor restored?

Gene, the problem is that there are too many definitions for "restored". To me, restored means that it is as perfect as when it came off the factory line. Some people think that if it runs good, looks good, and has new tires, it is restored. Others think if it was dead on arrival and they have it running with decent tires and a "walk around" spray paint job, they have restored it.

With all the above considerations, the most I have seen one sell for that could be considered a true restoration was $3,500 - and that was less than the guy had in it. The middle of the road restoration (around here) would bring about $2,000 to $2,500. The "walk around" restoration (around here) would be $1,600 to $2,000.

As in selling houses, location is also a major factor. Your locale could see totally different pricing than mine.

It also depends where you are. Judging by the TO, you're in the USA, but that's about all we can guess.

TO-20 with 6V is original, 12V is not. Truely the question is, What do you consider "restored"?. I have perused ads telling of "Restored"with added on parts and missing parts. Beautiful paint jobs to rattle can ugly.
