Got a day away from the shop and made the drive down to Covington, VA to look at some original implements. Ended up bringing home a Ferguson AO double-bottom moldboard plow, a Dearborn 22-1 cord saw with a good belt and the PTO belt drive unit, a Ferguson BFO-20 scraper blade and a 3pt dump bucket with no name plate.
All need the surface rust cleaned off, and new primer and paint, but everything works and the plow has both colters and the landside with it. I'm pretty excited to start getting the implements to use my 30 for more than just bush hogging. Now I can lay out a garden for next year.
The seller said his Dad had bought an 8N in '46 and bought the implements over the next few years. His father passed away a couple of years ago at 93 and was more worried about what would happen to his tractor than the rest of the estate.
