TE 20 radiator drain plug ?

The plastic drain plug has had it. I didn't find anything in the parts here. There wasn't enuff threads left to get what size threads it uses. Is there a replacement? Is there a better alternative? I tried to devise an extended drain to get it below the frame but can't find the right threaded pipe or union to get it done. If they'd make it easier to drain radiators the antifreeze would get change more often. This applies to all water cooled engines as well. TIA

forgot to say that should be a brass drain plug not plastic. Just go to the auto parts store and tell them you want a radiator drain plug.
 
1/4 won't work.The old plug would fit the 7/16 - 20 jig at Ace hardware, but they didn't have any 7/16 - 20 bolts. Being worn plastic it's hard to tell. I'll try HD. I'd really like to find a way to extend so that's easier to drain. I may just plug it for now. I need to get the idle adjusted and check for charging. I hoped someone had been down this road before.

Factory drain plug is 1/4 pipe threads. Here is the number for 1/8 which is on replacment radiators. Dorman 61103--It will be the auto supply in the section that is called-- Help-- in most stores.
