Not positive but I think that is just a regular 1/4" pipe thread fitting.

| 1/4 won't work.The old plug would fit the 7/16 - 20 jig at Ace hardware, but they didn't have any 7/16 - 20 bolts. Being worn plastic it's hard to tell. I'll try HD. I'd really like to find a way to extend so that's easier to drain. I may just plug it for now. I need to get the idle adjusted and check for charging. I hoped someone had been down this road before.

| forgot to say that should be a brass drain plug not plastic. Just go to the auto parts store and tell them you want a radiator drain plug.
