The fuel tap on my TEA 20 is not closing off completely.
After removal and dis-assembly, I notice the white plastic (nylon?) tap spindle appears well worn at the tip, which means it doesn't seal well against the shoulder in the die-cast body.
New plastic spindles don't seem to be available, only complete assemblies with glass bowls.
However, the plastic spindles look like the ones in the MF35/135 fuel taps, which are available at much lower cost.
Does anyone know if the MF35 spindles are the same as the TEA 20 spindle.
Or, does anyone have any suggestions about restoring the tap rather than replacement.
